Description

Iochroma australe x cyaneum Royal Blue Brugmansia. Not a beginner’s plant. Offer is for a packet of 10 seeds. We must explain that they are tropical USDA Zones 9-12 and require very high humidity and need temps above 80 during the day and 60 at night.  Germination can take up to 30-35 days. Soil temp must be above 75 degrees. They must be potted or have well-draining soil such as cactus soil because they are prone to root rot. These plants are grown in semi shade and need at least 6-8 hrs. of sunlight. Plant is grown regularly in South Asia, Mexico and parts of India. Soil must be fertilized every month to produce blooms that are long tubular flowers with the flaring bell-shaped form that cluster.
