Plumeria rubra L. also known as frangipani, is a genus of flowering plants found in the tropics. Offer is for one (1) rooted pink 10″ plant.  Very fragrant and showy. Many people do grow them indoors also the same as palm trees. Their flowers are what make lei necklaces and the scent makes perfumes. These trees grow from unrooted cuttings which are stalks and can take up to 4 months or longer to root. We sell stalks already rooted and ready for your garden. They require temps above 80 degrees and full sun to bloom. They will not survive outdoors in temps below 50. The soil can be a sand mix rich potting soil. During hot months water when soil is dry.  Dont over water as they are prone to rot. In winter, it is even a good thing to let the soil dry up entirely.Start watering again slowly in spring as soon as the leaves start unfurling. In summer you can water often, preferably with rain water that is naturally soft (or mineral water). Gar-Zen Botanical Designs is located in South Florida.
