Organic Dwarf oyster plant is considered drought-tolerant once it’s established. USDA Zones 9B-10 needs tropical temps will not tolerate temps below 30F (Popular indoors as a houseplant). Offer includes two (2) plants in your package. Plants prefer cactus soil.

This plant will do best with regular irrigation and enough time between waterings for the soil to go dry.

Be sure the planting area drains well. In a partly shaded area, the soil takes longer to dry out, and these are succulent ground covers that won’t take “wet feet.”

There is a showy variegated form called ‘Tricolor’ with leaves of pink-fuchsia, green and white. The dwarf is now the most common oyster plant sold, an improved cultivar of 2″ high-6″ wide often used as a border plant. If left in the same pot it will multiply and drape the pot with baby plants. If you have a border under a tree, walkway, rock wall or concrete planter they will surround and creep.
